A large-scale Spring Festival lantern fair is coming! Starting from January 29th, let's all go wild!

The Spring Festival is a grand traditional festival of the Chinese nation and one of the most anticipated traditional festivals of the year. To further promote traditional culture, enrich the holiday options for the general public and tourists, and create a joyous and harmonious festive atmosphere, Xuzhou Garden Expo Park will grandly launch the 2025 Large-scale Spring Festival Lantern Fair from January 29th to February 13th, 2025 (the first day to the sixteenth day of the first lunar month), from 10:00 to 20:30 every day.

This Spring Festival lantern fair is themed "Spring Festival Flavor · Temple Fun Garden Expo", featuring a rich variety of activities such as Zigong's intangible cultural heritage Spring Festival lanterns, modern light and shadow art, wonderful folk performances, lively food fairs, and fun interactive entertainment. At the event site, a 12-meter-tall "Summer Rain Lotus" lantern will make a stunning appearance. Its popular and eye-catching design is sure to attract tourists to stop and admire it. The newly customized 6-meter-tall "Garden Expo Goddess" will also be unveiled to the public. There will also be an extra-long lantern corridor, as well as theme light and shadow art such as the dreamy forest secret realm and the wonderful insect world created by integrating modern light and shadow aesthetics. In terms of performances, during the 16-day event period, over a hundred actors will present more than 20 wonderful folk performances every day. A large 7-meter-tall mecha parade will also make its appearance at the Xuzhou Xuanshui Lake (Garden Expo Park) scenic area. In addition, during the event period, the Garden Expo Park will offer night visits and launch a free entry activity for those born in the Year of the Snake. Visitors who meet the relevant event conditions and rules can enter the park for free during the event period.
